Content:  

Google Video has a plethora of video clips including music videos and TV commercials. We searched for skiing videos and the site pulled up a list of 797 videos-just on skiing!

Some of the content is professionally created, like the movie clips and commercials, but much of it is filmed and submitted by users.

Quality:  

Google Video's clips load quickly and don't require a lot of buffering time. One of the nice features about this website is the image is large and easy to view. The picture takes up the majority of the monitor without having to click “full screen” or stretch the image.

Organization:  

One of our favorite features of the site is each movie has a series of still shots and an in-depth description. So, you know exactly what to expect before viewing the movie.

There are 12 different categories of video clips including Animation, News, Comedy, Commercials and Popular. Or, use the searchbox to search the database by keyword.

Workplace/Kid-Friendly:  

Because Google is such a large company and a household name, they do an excellent job of editing the content on their site. However, we did find one video that contained some strong language.

Spyware/Adware Safe:  

We didn't find that any of the videos contained adware or spyware.

Google Video offers a number of ways that you can find help if you have a problem with the website. There is a help section with FAQs and a user forum. You can contact customer support by email.

This is one of the largest databases of videos on the web. There are even categories for educational and news videos. You can enter almost any keyword in the searchbox and find relevant clips.
