You can actually do productive things on this website like prepare for the SAT with a prep quiz or take a quick geography lesson. On the other hand, there are some excellent time-wasters. You can print and build paper robots, play flash games that you'll spend hours trying to win and one of our personal favorites, “Ask a Ninja.” He seems to have the answers to all of life's hard questions-not really, but he is entertaining.

You'll also find funny, sports related and extreme videos and pictures, news, office humor, pranks and so much more we can't list everything. You'll have to check it out for yourself. I am Bored's database of fun continues to grow as they constantly add new content.

Quality:  

Though we did come across a link that didn't work, all of the games and videos load quickly and the images and sounds are clear. For small online games, the graphics are excellent and they are easy to play. This website takes advantage of games from other quality sites, like MiniClip.

The news articles, hilarious literature and quizzes also load quickly, are easy-to-read and most importantly, amusing. You can also read user reviews so you can get other visitor's opinions of the quality before playing a game or watching a video.

Organization:  

I am Bored is divided into categories like latest, games, funny, sports, travel and more so you can easily navigate the site and find the boredom blaster you want. There is also a user-friendly searchbox so you can search the material by keyword. It was simple for us to return to the site and find one of our favorite games using the searchbox.

One thing that would add to an already well-designed website is categories for the games. As it is, you can't browse just the card games or the action games.

Workplace/Kid-Friendly:  

This is a site that you can share at the office and is free of adult content. However, like with the Internet in general, we wouldn't turn kids loose at this website. The I am Bored policy states that they won't display links to websites that contain adult content and the advertising on the site at the time of this review was tasteful.

We did come across one video that was clearly labeled “warning adult language.” It did have some mild adult language-comparable to a PG-13 movie.

Spyware/Adware Safe:  

We didn't encounter any spyware or adware on I am Bored.

Visitor Help:  

Visitor help is an area that could possibly be improved. Though visitors to entertainment sites don't require a lot of help, it is nice to know you can contact the webmaster or company that publishes the site. On I am Bored, you'll find a comprehensive FAQ page that should answer your questions and you can contact the site's creators through an online form.

It would be nice to see a help forum or phone support; though phone support is uncommon among entertainment sites.

I am Bored may extinct the words “I'm bored.” Add this one to your “favorites” list and you'll have enough games, videos, news, art and literature materials, sports information and other engaging stuff to fight your boredom for years.
